Once SubAssistant finds an available job assignment, your notification is generated and sent within one second, but depending your notification options, it could take many more seconds for the notification to reach you. We know that every second counts, so to ensure the fastest possible notifications try to follow as many of these suggestions as possible:

  1. Push (app) notifications using the SubAssistant Android or iPhone app are the most reliable and generally the quickest method of notification. If you have an Android smartphone or iPhone, get the app by searching the Google Play or Apple App store for subassistant.
  2. If you're using the SubAssistant app, do not use the "data saver" or "battery saver" features of your smartphone. These two features restrict notifications and Internet access.
  3. Reduce the number of notification methods you have enabled. Each method you use (app, email, or text) adds to the time it takes to process and send a notification. To use only app notifications, sign into the app with your active SubAssistant account, then turn off text and email notifications. As long as you're signed into the app, you will receive push notifications.
  4. If you are using your cell phone to receive text message notifications, make sure your cell phone has good cellular coverage to ensure the text messages can be delivered to your phone without delay.
  5. If you depend on email notifications delivered to your mobile device, it is best to use configure push messaging for your email application. Some email applications are set up, by default, to check periodically; push messaging enables your phone to receive nearly instantaneous notifications of new email. Refer to your email application’s help documentation for more information.
