When your Frontline Absence Management PIN changes, you need to update the PIN linked to your SubAssistant account. 

Please note: SubAssistant doesn't use your Absence Management website username/password. Instead, it uses your 10-digit phone number and 4-6 digit phone PIN. See this help article for more details


To update the info SubAssistant has on-file from the Android app:

  1. Open the SubAssistant app
  2. Open the menu and tap Your Accounts
  3. Tap the edit (pencil) icon next to the account you need to update
  4. Enter your 4-6 digit Absence Management phone PIN (if you have one, enter your 6-digit multi-district PIN)
  5. Tap Save 
  6. Tap the OFF button to turn it ON


To update your info from the iOS (iPhone or iPad) app:

  1. Open the SubAssistant app
  2. Tap the Accounts button at the bottom
  3. Tap the account you need to update
  4. Enter your 4-6 digit Absence Management phone PIN  (use your 6-digit multi-district PIN if you have one)
  5. Tap the OFF button to turn it ON
  6. Tap Save


 To change the stored password from the website:


  1. Sign in to your SubAssistant account
  2. On the Your Accounts section of your account find the substitute account you need to modify.
  3. For the substitute account you need to modify, click the Change link in the password column.
  4. Enter your 4-6 digit Absence Management phone PIN 
  5. Click the Save button
  6. Under the Enabled column, click On so SubAssistant will resume monitoring of that account
