This is a new feature that cannot be turned off at this time. It's purpose is to reduce the chance that a substitute will not report for a job that he/she accepted through SubAssistant. Unfortunately, this occurs regularly and it causes school district administration to distrust and sometimes ban the use of SubAssistant in their districts. Obviously, this is undesirable for both you and us, so we've decided to confirm each acceptance by email to help reduce these occurrences.
