There's several things you can do to help your SubAssistant notifications stand out from the rest so you're more likely to get that job.

If you're using an Android smartphone, you can set a custom alert sound, allow notifications to override Do Not Disturb mode, enable vibration, and choose whether notification info shows on the lock screen.

Set a custom alert sound

Important: Settings can vary by phone. For more info, contact your device manufacturer.

  1. Open your phone's Settings app
  2. Tap Apps & notifications and then Notifications
  3. Under Recently opened apps, tap SubAssistant. If SubAssistant isn't listed there, tap See all... and tap SubAssistant from that list
  4. Tap Notifications
  5. Check that all the notification toggles are on (to the right)
  6. Tap Miscellaneous
  7. Tap Advanced
  8. Tap Sound
  9. Your phone's sound library will appear. When you find a sound you like, tap Save

Tip: If you don't see "Recently opened," you're using an older Android version. Instead, tap App notifications and tap an app. You can turn notifications, notification dots, and notification categories on or off. If an app has categories, you can tap a category for more options.
